WEDDING PROGRAM SCRIPT - GRAND ENTRANCE
The grand entrance during a wedding reception entails a certain flair by doing a twist here and there just to spice the first part of a wedding program. Doing right during this instance keeps you safe sailing as you go on with the program.
A wedding emcee is there to guide the flow of the program not to showcase his wit and funny jokes. A use of one or two of it is fine but doing the whole of the time is disturbing.
What to consider are saying the right words at the premise moments when needed. That would set a professional wedding host. That marks a breed.

WEDDING EMCEE PHILIPPINES - RUNNING THE SHOW
The excitement and joy hosting a wedding reception program is fulfillment for a wedding emcee. Running the show needs not flaunt how good you speak or how polished your diction is. The wedding emcee is there like an entertainer filling gaps of boredom having tricks on his sleeves. No need for frills or antics to make a show. All it needs is to run things smoothly on the handle.
A long wedding reception program is not advisable. A wedding emcee is there for what are most important parts to include. Highlights of the celebration are thinkable and there are ways to inovolve such. The program host is around to exact the right flow and he is more expert than the bride or groom through exposure.
Popular masters of ceremonies don't accept criticism. They feel they know it all. To them having a nice speaking voice is all it takes. It is a plus but consider delivery, how words are spoken, the energy of the wedding host, even his smile and how he interacts, how he organizes. Just few to mention.
The triumph of a wedding program relies on a wedding host's hands and laurels are enough to say to himself, "I have contributed something good!"

How To - Important Wedding Checklist
WeddingPlanning is a turnabout to make things happen for big special day where hearts,
souls and finances are put together in making a truthful dream a reality.
Weddings are the most considered works found where preparations are many and
only dedicated planner with time on his hand can pull off with results.
For
the Future Bride and Groom
v Seek a refuge to ask yourself if you want to tie the
knot and if deep within you, the flame burns. I mean, the love for both of you.
Never cheat your feeling. And this is the door for things to happen.
v When you are decided to be together for the rest of
your lives, get the blessing through marriage.
v Getting into the wedding plan requires resources, of
course. See if you can pull resources for a budget and list what needs be.
v When you are ready to start the first stages, then
target a date that suits both.
v Then, book the date and time. Now it’s yours.
v If it is a Catholic ceremony or Christian, ask for the
requirements. They will provide you the list of documents to be filled up and
the necessary documents to be submitted.
v Look for a reception venue near the church, favorably
for convenience of the guests.
v Think of a motif that fits your personality, if you
want to be a bit different.
v List your desired members of the entourage.
v Scout for photography and video works. Compare.
Compare. Compare. They are many to choose from.
v If catered, look for best deal a caterer can offer,
the rate, the amenities, menu where you can have some taste of it to decide
later. It is not necessary if it is a big named caterer or not. All caterers
almost offer the same. Their rates differ and that you have to consider.
v I know the bride is particular about her gown. Gown is
expensive. Here in the Philippines, you have options. You can rent, you can
have a couturier or buy from the famous place (Divisoria) where they come
affordably but amazingly made looking a million-dollar piece. I tell you.
v For souvenirs, you can have them made, or do
yourselves testing such creativity to cut budget. You don’t have to worry, they
are many to choose from.
v Your invites can be made by you or from a printer
shop. If you have the time, office publisher or office word has ready templates
to present you stand-out wedding invitation cards. Work out your ingenuity to
lessen expenses.
v If both are busy and you have extra budget, hire a
wedding planner to do the rest of the works like follow-ups, sharing wedding
tips and ideas, dealing with some suppliers or scouting for other wedding
needs. But the greater works are from the church and reception where all
preparations are put where glitzes are nil because of wedding planning
expertise.
v Wedding music is an integral part of any wedding
ceremony and reception. Hiring musicians and someone to do the vocals add
pizzazz to the event.
v A wedding reception program host is vital to run the
program prepared by the couple. You can ask a relative or friend who is keen to
such task to run the show to the end, if any. You can also hire a professional
wedding event host when nobody among your relatives or friends are able.
v A budget is called adding a mobile bar or for
photo-booth sessions. They are in these days but just options when you have
enough budget to splurge.
v Or you can hire a Professional Disc Jockey for dancing
after the program. The rest stays and make the most of the time to celebrate
for a grand day.
These are concerns and elements in making a wedding
day something to be remembered. I can guarantee you by having a preview of this
will help you do the rest.

A Wedding Event - Recollection by Augustine Music and Events
The
father was obviously keyed up about his daughter's wedding just few days more
and arrangements were done mostly by him with the presence of the future bride
and equally edgy mother. They had made the major preparations and opted to add pizazz
for the big day by engaging with wedding
musicians.
The
father of the future bride decided to get us from comparisons made and a week
after, the lovely daughter forwarded me the music list closes to their hearts
and some were not familiar to us so we did the usual searching of pieces but
failed. Good Youtube provides the opportunity for musicians or artists to learn
the melody for possible delivery of their chosen songs.
The
day of the wedding rolled up. I left the house three hours prior to the wedding
because traffic is terrible during Saturdays along Edsa. Much to my alarm, it
was the worst traffic I encountered. I immediately called my pianist to help me
in case I would be late by asking the church singer to take over, if late. I
felt appeased that it was possible.
I
reached the church in Sucat just in time for the Offertory to sing their
requested wedding song. And I felt better.
After
the ceremony, another travel time for the reception at Leslie's, a stone walled
restaurant with antique woods flourishing the place. A distinctive wedding reception
venue, I can say.
The
program started a bit late just to gather all guests before commencing. It was
a wonderful wedding to start with. Not much flair of a program but the music
from Augustine Music and Events did their sincere share of making the event a marvel
and some guests with their wonderful renditions of the couple's favorite songs.
It completed the night. Even the bride did a share of a song for her love one
and for the guests. She was brave enough to sing a tough song with our
accompaniment.
To end casually, Godspeed
for the couple!

Intimate Wedding - Experience by Augustine Music and Events
An afternoon wedding set for two lovely couple where friends and
relatives came despite the rain on a Tuesday. When the ceremony started, the
rain stopped for added comfort for those who came a little late when the bride
had her walk with the song of Taylor Swift played on a CD. The church choir did
the mass songs during the ceremony and for the pictorials, the Augustine Music and Events musicians rendered some songs and music.
Allen and Aira were indeed happy celebrating their wedding with close
relatives and friends in the
beautiful church of Our Lady of Consolacion Parish in Tierra Pura, Quezon City.
This is one place where serenity is found, especially weddings.
The reception is adjacent from church. The Bulwagang Recoletos can seat
200 guests when all rooms are opened. It is intended for small group divided
into three rooms but you can occupy the whole hall, if desired. Wedding
reception here offers convenience for guests and just steps lead you to a
well-maintained venue really intended for various functions of any kind –
weddings, debut, birthdays and seminars.
The couple opted for simple music with just a piano and flute with a
wedding singer and program host. They had special guest during the reception
who played two classical music with his violin. Guests who offer special
numbers during the reception add spice to the festivity and more to the delight
of the couple, for sure. The violinist added glitz.
The Reyes and Gulpeo wedding is another experience for us performers or
we can say dedicated wedding musicians doing the best we can no matter what. We
also accept the fact that at times we falter with the work we do but foremost in
our minds is to contribute gaiety to an affair with the brand of music we share.
Augustine Music and Events plays a part of this by providing songs and music,
as well as running the wedding reception program devised by the couple.
We want to thank Allen and Aira for affording us the honor as a part of
a well prepared wedding. From the bottom of our hearts, Godspeed!

Wedding Singer Sings Soul - A World Class Performance
Soul jazz music is a light free interpretation of controlled tone without raising the voice to the hilt. A tender emotion has to be presented.
Jazz music cools as you sip a drink or two with someone mesmerizing a longing for romance with sincere acceptance. The background music enhances the feel of the moment.
The beauty of music regards the importance of melodic empathy and interpreting the message needs the vivacity of a true performer knowing the control of pitch and turns. The caliber of a sincere performer entails.

MANILA PROGRAM EVENT EMCEE - MARIO LUPATO
A
gathering of children and relatives that filled the hall of
Fernandina Bar and Restaurant made the celebrant
on his 75th birthday celebration emotional almost with tears. Mood music of
Augustine Music and Events and program hosting by Mario
Lupato contributed for a successful affair.
The messages of the children who
mostly arrived from the states with their kids were meant and you could feel their longing for a wonderful person. The program was handed to me an hour before it started and suggested their
participation. The celebrant's two daughters did
fantastic song numbers displaying real voice quality and a grandchild did a special song for him singing an apt song,
“Thank you.”
Another
highlight was when the grandchildren did a special scintillating
dance number to our delight. But the best part was when the celebrant
did his message summarizing a life bringing up professional children
of eight. Two are here in the Philippines and the rest arrived from
the states to grace an important event of their father,
Mr. Quintin Exevea Macaculop.
Intimate affair like a birthday compares to a wedding where concerns matter. The casual touch eases everyone and preparations are not that extensive and expensive but a special moment like birthday party is a memory that last until the next one.

WEDDING MEMORY AT FERNBROOK GARDENS - AUGUSTINE MUSIC AND EVENTS
The wedding of Mike and Bing started at exactly 4:30 pm at the Notre Damne di Chapelle when all guests were settled down before the procession began with their chosen music, “Down” in slow version then when the bride walked the aisle the song, “Angels Brought Me Here” was played. An intimate duo of a pianist and vocalist did the music.
Bishop Famadico officiated the solemn mass in Pilipino but the couple opted the offertory and communion songs in English. It seemed contradicting but that's what they wanted and it was not felt differently, anyway. And the Lord's Prayer instead of recited was sang in Tagalog by Francisco's version of “Ama Namin” which I consider the best among other versions.
During the pictorial, light Tagalog songs were rendered and the rest were beautiful Pilipino instrumentals familiar to most of us. Piano solo seems appreciable because of the lightness it brings to a music so romantic from a distance. It seems like a bird hum. It creates solemnity around a chapel like the one in Fernbrook Gardens. Normally, church activities last for more than an hour in preparation for the grand celebration where a feast is ready to share.
Before program started, hors d' ouevre and drinks were served that lasted for an hour. And when the couple was ready all the members of the entourage except parents and principal sponsors were assembled by the wedding coordinators for the presentation where the members danced to a fast music as introduced. They wholeheartedly did a share of gaiety to the guests' delight and when Mike and Bing were introduced they did a choreographed dance when they reached the center floor. It was fun watching the two enjoying the moment. All of us enjoyed the scene that not often done – four different dance styles. Something to beat merging it around for four or five minutes.
The wedding duo of Augustine Music and Events shared light-easy-listening kind of music during dinner. When almost all are halfway done with their dinner a guest performer sang a beautiful rendition of “Faithfully” then followed by her daughter belting a Whitney Huston's song. It added a certain variety to the occasion and another guest sang a classic Tagalog song, “Kahit Maputi Na Ang Buhok Mo” with a lilt and a surprise number from a close friend that resembled a novelty piece but fun to listen to and obviously it sent a message to her friend.
To prolong the program, a question and answer trivia game was done with the bride and groom kissing each other when the answer was right and the winners got beautiful gifts. This is one way to involve the guests and it adds a certain flavor to a celebration.
As always, I treasure wedding memories and this is one of them. Weddings are fun to be engaged with even they are almost the same, there is something new that surprises and something to reckon with.

WEDDING PLANNING AT THE GREENERY - AUGUSTINE MUSIC AND EVENTS
As
a wedding coordinator, it's imperative to consider time management
and going to attend the job earlier than expected reduces stress for
both bride and the wedding planner. More so when it is an out-of-town
service where time catches and being at the right time means more
space to do what is required of you and better judgement when amiss.
It reserves you ample space to do the bidding for accomplished
planning and implementation of what's needed. And there you are, the
expert wedding coordinator at hand.
The
four of us had the time worth recalling for a wedding coordinated at
The Greenery in Baliaug, Bulacan proceeding where rain poured and
troubled that it was raining there, too being an outdoor christian
wedding ceremony. Then, it subsided and a little sunshine appeared
but reaching the venue, drizzles were pouring being early afternoon
in preparation for the 3:30 pm ceremony. The bride was worried, the
groom was silent and we were up and around fixing things right until
the bride had her final say to do the ceremony inside the ground
floor of the hall of The Greenery in preparation for the
reception to be held in the second floor.
There,
a rushed set-up at the first floor of the hall transporting the
chairs and tables from a short distance while drizzles on. We
realized the need to make the venue a sight to behold for the bride
really wanted having it along the poolside. But she did the right
move for everybody's comfort.
We
made it a point to start the ceremony as scheduled because guests
came in droves and we didn't want them to wait any longer coming from
far places just to grace the event. Being accustomed to what needs
be, the wedding ceremony started on its smooth flow with our
attendance that was called for also making the task of the
officiating priest easier.
The
music provided by members of Augustine Music and Events made it more
solemn as the ceremony went. Well, with their music choices, they
knew better.
When
the rites were done, it took thirty minutes before the wedding
reception program commenced following their program. They had some
highlights on mind and needed to be done out of the venue, so I was
asked to skip some parts of the program and let everyone proceed out
for the releasing of balloons with messages written on them by some
guests together with their silent wishes for the couple. This also
signalled guests to leave being a wedding destination and most came
from Metro Manila.
Before
leaving, being the wedding coordinator, we always make it a point to
turn everything over to the couple matching the list we carry.
This
memorable wedding of June 2, 2012 is proof that we extended joy to
Alan and Marisa on our own sincere special way. Maybe, we had some
missed points but being concerned wedding coordinators and planners
we keep upgrading knowledge in event planning.
